Canada has never had a female triple jumper qualify for the Olympics – and Caroline Ehrhardt is trying to change that. As a Western Mustang, Caroline broke the 22 year old national university record and graduated as Western’s athlete of the year in 2015. She is the 6-time Canadian triple jump champion and currently has the 2nd furthest jump in Canadian history. In 2017 Caroline won gold for the Canada at the World Francophone Games in Africa. This upcoming season, Caroline hopes to break the national record and be the first Canadian to jump over 14 meters.
