As a junior aged athlete, Taylor Stewart won bronze in long jump at the World Junior Championships. Having always been a well-rounded athlete, in 2015 Taylor made the decision to switch his focus to the decathlon. This turned out to be a good decision as he is now one of the top decathletes in the world. In 2017 Taylor won silver at the Pan Am Cup and gold at the World Francophone Games in Africa. In 2018 Taylor will be representing Canada at the Commonwealth Games in Australia and trying to break the elusive 8000 point barrier on his quest to qualify for the 2020 Olympics.
